A few patches of snow lingering in some of the high places, this photo was from near a series of waterfalls, near the junction of the trail to Flapjack Lakes.
Get a look at these violent, right-wing religious fanatics...oppressors of homosexuals and women...promoters of genocide...no wonder progressive activists aggressively oppose and boycott them!
Thanks. Still, I think all people deserve to be treated well, regardless of our disagreements.
Maybe holders of strong political, economic, and military power (like the state of Israel for example,) were not in the first place, oppressing people, then there would be not nearly as much room for violent and radical religious fanatics to operate.
Why could not the state of Israel have been developed in peace and cooperation with the indigenous Arab population?
Do you think it might have been possible if the development had been lead by people who believed in peace, rather than people who believed in war?
I sense your sarcasm and anger. I am sorry you feel that way.
Maybe if the establishment of the state of Israel was done in a way that respected the indigenous Arab population, then today we would not have so much conflict and violence.
Maybe we can go back and figure out what went wrong, and figure out how to correct those mistakes. Because obviously, both Israelis and Palestinians deserve to be treated well, and to live in peace, right? Don't you think so?
