Rob, you are a gifted photographer! What equipment do you use and are you a digi person or classical photog?
Gen 1:12 The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
I enjoy photography. I mostly use my 4 mp digital nikon point and shoot. It's an E4800. I really notice the difference in optical quality between it and my 35mm format Pentax super program, which is outfitted with a high quality 1.4 aperture 50mm lens.
I'd like to work with a digital SLR combined, for starters, with a high quality 50 mm lens (aperture opening down to 1.4.)
I tried getting my 35mm film processed onto a CD digitally, but it didn't turn out very well. I shot a roll with an entry level SLR, a Ricoh K series, which I got processed onto CD, and I was unhappy with the results. I think the problem was transferring the film negs into digital format- the processor probably wasn't using the equipment right.
If I do it again, I will try another store, because I didn't like the results of getting digital prints there either, but I liked the quality of digital prints I got when ordering from yahoo! photos.
I used Snapfish processing for my film. They process the film, send prints and replacement film (if you request it.) When they've finished processing the film they post the pix on your snapfish account site. The pix look pretty good on the account site. I haven't received the film from them yet.
i like your photos so much. The Fallen Tree is particularly intriguing. Your Pipe Lake relation!
ReplyDeleteDo you think that you don't get so many visitors because of the word verification that is required?
