What's New

So much. Life has had me changing more in the last year or two I think than since I was adolescent. So much has been going on. I have been busy. I have a full-time job (putting in 55 hours this week.) I have still been trying to be active with photography and video, and using my voice for truth and justice (for example commenting on an article in The Nation Magazine by Robert Reich about wealth inequality. I am still collecting signatures to petition the Port of Olympia Commissioners to stop engaging in the business of hydraulic fracturing (aka "fracking" or "hydro-fracking") - an extreme method for extraction of fossil fuels. The port has been importing "proppants" from China for a company called Rainbow Ceramics. Proppants are little ceramic balls; they used to prop open fissures created by the hydraulic blasting. I posted a video about that, here. I also saw an Amtrak train, the Southbound Cascades service whiz by at Waldrick Road. Another video I recently posted shows a bunch of crows flying around in the wind seen from the Law Enforcement Memorial at the State Capitol campus. Some photos recently posted to Flickr:

  1. Growth and change are good. Don't know how you manage it all, but Olympia and world benefiting.
Keep up that voice for justice. Thanks for your many dedicated works.
