We can choose a better future.

Hey, join me at the peace vigil! Every Friday (that's today) from 4:30 to 6pm at Percival Landing.

We can choose a better future!

Percival Landing
This is the view from Southeast Percival Landing, looking toward the North. I was there for the weekly Friday evening peace vigil. The peace vigil goes from 4:30 to 6pm. You're invited and your presence will be welcomed and appreciated if you stop by and join us. No need to stay the whole 1.5 hours, although that's appreciated too. Join us. We'd love to see you!

Thought Bandit!

I just posted three new blogs on OlyBlog. One about the socially destructive nature of advertisements, another about my letter of interest to serve on the Editorial Board of The Olympian, and the following Thought Bandit, which is also cross posted here:

This panorama is far from perfect, many of the seams are off. The color temperature is off. Perfection isn't the goal.

Whoa were there some awesome clouds today!

It was quite dark when this photographic image was captured. This was a 15 second exposure, at f4 and iso 100.

Percival Landing

I regularly attend a weekly peace vigil that happens on Friday evenings in Olympia, Washington. It's been ongoing weekly for over 10 years at Percival Landing. Here's a photo, I make an effort to photograph Budd Bay from this perspective every week.

Budd Bay and Percival Landing and Carbon River Hike

Budd Bay from Percival LandingThis seems to be out of focus. I took it as I was leaving a weekly peace vigil that I attend. I was leaving early because the automotive exhaust was exacerbating my symptoms of bronchitis. My bronchial passageways have become very irritated in the past month. Something in the air?

WaterfallThis photo was taken on a hike to Mt. Rainier's Carbon Glacier.
