Beautiful photographs! I've not been to Crater Lake for many years. It is such a gorgeous lake. I suppose it is the "bottomless" lake that gives such an incredible color.
Yes, the color is remarkable. I am sure there is a scientific explanation. I am thinking the deepness probably has something to do with it, but maybe it also has something to do with the specific chemical properties or mineral content.
